We mainly work with small groups of 2nd-6th grade students and aim to incorporate relevant NGSS concepts. I also design classroom curriculum for teachers to use after the experience to enhance student experience and understanding.

Educator AND TRIP LEADER - STANFORD OUTDOOR EDUCATION
My involvement with Stanford Outdoor education began my freshman year and continues through to today. I value the amount of time I have been able to spend in an educational role. I have taught four outdoor skills classes and two five day Outdoor Leadership Practicums. My favourite way to being the year is with Stanford Pre-Orientation Trips where I have lead three generations of SPOTlets (incoming freshmen) on a five-day backpacking trip to begin their Stanford careers. I continue to lead for Stanford Outdoor Trips including pioneering bouldering trips and leading cross-country ski trips.
